SakuSaku Flakerie
SakuSaku's owner, Yuri, is on a mission to bring more Japanese flavors and styles into the American bakery scene. Born in the city of Kobe in Japan, she has trained and worked in bakeries in Japan, Canada, and the U.S.
The name SakuSaku is a Japanese onomatopoeia for “flaky, crispy" and Flakerie is a twist on the classic French patisserie. We are bringing Japanese-French fusion baked goods, from classic European pastries with Japanese flavors to pastries that are purely Japanese in origin.

Monthly Variety Box
Subscribe to our Monthly Variety Box to secure your access to our often-sold-out specials, subscriber-only pastries, and be a taste tester for new flavors from our test kitchen that are yet to be available in retail.
You will receive:
- Seven (7) pieces of monthly rotating pastries
- In addition to the classic favorites, there will be 3-4 monthly special items in each box, themed around what's in season and any upcoming holidays
- Subscribers also receive 10% off other in-store purchases
In addition to subscribing, you can also purchase our à la carte items like croissants, quiches, cheesecakes, and breads.
Pickup: at our store, 4200 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC, on the first Thursday or Sunday of each month. 8 am-4 pm
Important Dates: The Monthly Variety Box subscription is available on the first Thursday and Sunday of each month.
Please allow 3 full days for us to prepare your à la carte orders. À la carte items are available for pickup during our opening hours: Tuesday-Sunday 8 am-4 pm.

How and when will I receive my order?
All orders can be picked up at our store located at: 4200 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC.
Monthly Variety Box subscriptions can be picked up on the first Thursday or Sunday of each month. 8 am-4 pm.
À la carte orders can be picked up during our opening hours, Tuesdays to Sundays 8 am-4 pm. Please allow 3 full days for us to prepare your order.
What will be included in the Monthly Variety Box?
The Monthly Variety Box will include seven (7) pieces of pastries, containing a combination of classic flavors and 3-4 seasonal pastries that often sell-out. The Monthly Box guarantees our subscribers access to our seasonal specialty items.
The exact contents of the box will vary each month. Please let us know your allergies and intolerances, and we will try our best to accommodate by swapping out items as needed. Please note, not all restrictions can be accommodated.
Can I temporarily pause my Monthly Variety Box subscription?
Yes, you can skip an upcoming box at any time. You'll receive a reminder before each scheduled pickup, with an option to skip.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply send us an email and we'll take care of the rest.
